Fascia responds to stress by stiffening: it loses its elasticity, the fibers thicken and its ability to absorb nutrients is obstructed, turning it into a dehydrated tissue and compromising all our systems.
Slow, fluid movements, in rhythm with the tissues, using the minimum amount of lotion necessary, releasing the fascia in all directions and reconnecting areas of the body that are suffering from overload due to postural compensations, is one of the wonders of this work. “Therapeutic Presence” on my part, since it is the tissues that guide my hands. The session does not have a predetermined sequence; each client receives what they need. The entire body is worked on to achieve what I call “re-integration.”
